Was it love at first sight? No, but we were best friends for about five days before we parted ways. Over the next several months, our friendship was reduced to liking each other’s posts and exchanging a few messages here and there.\n\nWe didn’t see each other again until the following July, when I (Heather) accidentally found a cheap ticket to Iceland. After our ten day visit, and worst goodbye of my life, I felt like I found the place I was meant to be.\n\nLong story short, it was love at second sight. I returned a month later, Jökull picked me up from the airport, we bought a plant (named it Greg), and moved into the cabin that afternoon. Jökull sponsored my work visa, and he brought me on as a glacier guide. After my visa was approved, we got a cat (named her Salka). We married in August 2024, wearing our wool sweaters to the ceremony.\n\nWe stayed in the countryside, having a blast running our first company together, Glacier Odyssey. We spent most of our days exploring Sólheimajökull, guiding private groups through the icy wonderland.\n\nDue to our growing concern about the longevity of the glacier access, we made a bittersweet decision to move to Reykjavík this year. Guiding will always be a passion of ours, but we are finally bringing Layover to life- the project we had been dreaming about for the last few years!\n\n_[Check out ATV with the Land Owners](#)_\n\n\n### Example of complex rich template\n**but better to have separate section for it if you are useing such template often. we should avoid writing markup here, but if you really need it you can do it.**\n\u003Cdiv style=\"display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; gap: 20px;\">\n\u003Cdiv style=\"flex: 1; min-width: 470px;\">\n\n### Epic Activites\n\nLong story short, it was love at second sight.
